Additionally, the location’s accessibility—featuring garage parking, public transport links, and even catered kids’ options—means it's perfect for both local and international diners.

However, it’s worth noting that prices at Food Republic may be slightly elevated compared to traditional outdoor hawker stalls. This is acknowledged by customers like Krysten I., who also pointed out that the space can get crowded, particularly during peak hours. Yet, with patience, diners can easily find a seat and enjoy their meals while indulging in some people-watching.

For those looking for an immersive experience, Sascha N. shared his adventure with the hot pot, highlighting an exceptional blend of spices that left his palate excited. Such vibrant dishes are complemented by a wide selection of beverages, including local favorites and refreshing fruit juices, ensuring your thirst is quenched as you savor the bold flavors.

There are varieties of food options to choose from. Something for everyone. Or at least majority of the people. There are soup, spicy, noodles, rice, drinks, etc. The prices and portions were decent. Since this is located inside, will get to enjoy the AC during hot and humid days. That's always a plus! The food we ordered was alright. There is an arcade next to the food court. Definitely go check it out after eating :)

Food Republic is a chain of modern indoor hawker centres in Singapore. They seem to be located everywhere. The selection is great. You can choose from a variety of.l cuisines from all over Asia in one stop. Clean and air conditioned but slightly more expensive than the outdoor versions of hawker centres. If you can't decide on what to eat and don't want to queue up (line up for us westerners), this is the place to go

There is a good variety of food options at this food court. There is also a shoe store, in case you really need shoes while you're eating. Compared to the food court in the basement of 313, food Republic has more prepared foods and more variety. Downstairs there are snack like places and drinks, up at food Republic, you can get chicken rice, kway teow, hot pot, Japanese food, Thai food and Indian food. There is also a great juice bar. Prices are a bit more expensive than other, more local food courts. A local wouldn't pay $7 for a minuscule serving of chicken rice. I think food Republic caters to foreigners, both tourists and expats. It's a fairly large food court, but it gets crowded. People are usually quick about eating, so if you're patient, you're bound to get a table. You can also try for the ends of the food court. By the far end escalators, it seemed to be more empty than the middle area. There are service people to clean the tables and sell you drinks. Not surprising, the workers here are not the friendliest or most patient people ever.

I would have thought that I might not find this kind of spicy food after a 2004 Beijing Hot Pot experience with a now Elite Yelp member ( yes the same one mentioned earlier in another review of mine). But I was wrong. Looking for a nice Friday eve dinner to prepare us for a bar stroll afterwards we decided to go for the Fragrance Hot Pot. After choosing the ingredients nicely sorted by price category in different metal bowls, we quickly conferred on the hotness level. 4/5 seemed like s reasonable choice. So after some minutes we picked up the hot pot freshly fried in a high powered gas wok, which gave away its power by a deep strong sound. As it turned out the hotness composed by Szechuan pepper combined with red chillis was exactly what I wanted ( but was not hoping for). 5/5 would have been insane, so we fought our way through the bowl accompanied by bowl of rice and a tiger beer ( not helping yeah I know), with some people dropping out along the way to get less spicy food from the Indian food stall. All in all 17 S$ per person with lots of seafood meat and an amazing composition of spices inside the bowl. Full recommendations but go easy on the spice level.

I am a fan of Food Republic on the top floor of 313 Somerset. I always try to make it before or after the lunch rush because it can get a bit crowded. They've got a lot of food options to choose from and it's always very clean. I'm a fan of the Korean and the Vietnamese stalls and find myself wandering here often when I want a quiet lunch of people watching. Highly recommend if you're in the Somerset/Orchard area and you're not sure what you're hankering for.

I love this food centre because it is clean, air conditioned, offers plenty of seating, and has a wide variety of food options. As far as food centres go, it is on the more expensive side if you look to its competitors but it is nothing compared to a sit down restaurant and the food is still very nice. When it is rainy, hot, or hazy there is nothing better than being able to escape indoors to enjoy a meal or snack without having to battle the elements. With all the different food options ranging from noodles, to chicken wings, thai, vietnamese, pepper steak, curry, there is something for everyone. If you are looking for an "authentic hawker centre" this is not the place, but it is still worth a visit.

The Food Republic at 313 stays open pretty late, with food options available even up to 930pm . There is a ToastBox where I get my Home made iced lemon tea from, Tokyo Mario Pasta for mentaiko ramen and a host of other stalls. It takes up practically the entire 5th floor and I have never had a problem finding seating because of the vast amount of space there is, so that's the number one thing I like about this food court. As for the food options, these are some decent stalls you can check out: - You mian / Ban mian noodle store serves up a hearty generous portion of you mian that is really quite good! - Tokyo Mario Pasta - this is a standalone restaurant style place almost with seating for its patrons; serves delicious and cheap pasta - Niko niko bento - Japanese bento box, pretty popular, decent servings although they scrimp on the vegetables - Vietnamese (put a picture) - good value for money Vietnamese food and decent quality coffee! The rest of the stalls are also of decent quality. The fruit stall is pretty good, but the desserts are quite mediocre. You might want to go down to Honeymoon dessert after your meal.
